    Everything

Whew! Finally finished with the investigation. I can't believe i wanted to be a detective when i was younger! Well, this sure changed my mind!

For this week, i've spent most of my time investigating and writing the report of this investigation... which i must say taxed a lot of my mental capacities, especially when on thursday, i stayed back in the office until 10pm just trying to get the report done on time.... *sigh* the price of being an officer...

must... suppress... urge.... to scream.... I wanna... ORD! ....

    ...

Well, nothing much to report except for the fact that i've decided to take part in an air rifle competition. So last wednesday, i held and fired an air rifle for the first time in my life. It was different then all the weapons that i've been trained in. Barely any recoil, not loud, but i guess it must be painful if shot at close range. Hahah, well, whether i win the competition or not, at least i'll have fun! :)

    Collide

    *yawns*

You know... after working in the office everyday as an assistant ops officer, it has helped me to decide what i want to be when i grow up.

    I have decided to be...

    a slacker.

    ....

Hahaha, how nice would it be to not work? Even now, when i'm going to turn 20 in a few months, i yearn for the days of my childhood. When all i had to worry about was what games to play next. (where does this phrase sound familiar? i think this is the 4th time i'm writing this..)

Anyway, guess what? Guess! Guess! Come on, you can do it.

    Fine, i'll tell you....

Yesterday, i was doing duty in camp (on a sunday, sian...) when one of the camp prowlers spotted something suspicious at night (lights were on in a building that was supposed to be empty...). As the duty officer, it was my job to go and check it out. However, my duty sergeant came down with a high fever and couldn't accompany me to see what's wrong. So i decided to take my duty clerk along with me instead. However, the suspicious building was quite a far ways from where i was and i felt quite sian (troublesome) in walking that far. (shows you how lazy i've become now) Then, as if by a gift from God, my duty sergeant asked "Sir, do you have a license? Can take my car."

    ......

    NANI?!

He is letting me drive his car?! How cool is that?!!! And it's been ages since i last drove (dec 05, before i came to singapore), and i was a bit nervous about driving again.

"Sir, if you're not confident, you can let the duty clerk drive."

What the heck?! As if i'll give up this opportunity to drive!

Quickly, i snatched up the car keys and looked at my duty clerk. "Ready?"

    XD

Oh, it felt good to drive. To feel the steering wheel in my hand, the pedals under my feet. Music playing in the background. (it was manual, so i could drive it. too bad for you auto-trained guys. pheh! :P) It's like falling in love again!

Ok, i'm getting a bit carried away. I'll stop now...

    vrrrooommm!!!

    *ahem*

    Forecast of events,

i've been appointed as an Investigation Officer for one case.

In a nutshell: Someone damaged an artillery gun and the repair cost is about $22k. So it is my job to find out who's really at fault.

So tomorrow is when i'll begin my *plays inspector gadget theme song* investigation.

    Ciao.
