June 24 Wonderful TonightComing Soon!
Transformers the Movie!!! Oh yeah! I can't wait to watch it this thursday. Although i haven't really grown up with the vehicle transformers, and i've only seen a few episodes of it... (i watched mostly Beast Wars when i was younger)
Speaking of this thursday, my physical fitness test is on that day itself. I'm confident about doing well, but it's the running that worries me a lot because i've sprained my ankle a while back and till now it still stubbornly refuses to fully recover. Well, all i can do is take medication and pray that God will heal it before my test.
Sorry i don't have anything interesting of late to post on my blog. It's not pretty on this side as well...
I wanna say "Let something interesting happen!" but i know that by saying that, usually something bad (in an interesting point of view) would happen to me.... June 17 AddictedDoes the personality of the boss affect the productivity of the employees?
I mean, if you have a boss whom you dread seeing (much less being in the same room as him), it's hard to work when he's around (because you spend all that time and energy ducking into the toilet when he's not looking or going to the next office when you think he's gonna arrow you for some more work).
*sigh* If the case is this bad when i am working, i would quit. Coz having a friendly environment, fellow employees and boss are the few important things in a workplace. But alas! I can't quit.
The only thing that keeps me going is (because i have no choice) by thinking about flying back to Australia and how many more months left. That way, i don't have to see his face again. June 10 A Mood in BossaI did it...
I've sent in the application requesting for my disruption of National Service in January 2008.. All that's left is for them to approve it. *prays hard*
It seems like i'm getting closer and closer to going back to melbourne... i feel excited yet positively frightened. What new changes are there? Are my friends still the same? Will they still talk to me? Is my favourite shop still there? Has it closed down? So many questions that my head is asking yet i'm too afraid (actually lazy) to answer. Going to melbourne would mean that i would have to be more independent now, especially if i decide to stay in melbourne instead of geelong...
Anyway, it's still too early to talk about these things still.
One of my friends recently asked me what are the things that i look for in a girl that would earn points in "girlfriend potential" book (whatever that means...) I didn't answer at first, but after thinking about it for a while, these are a few things that i've come up with (of course, this doesn't include the necessities like must be a devoted Christian, must have a nice personality, yadda yadda yadda):
It'll be good if she:
June 03 Rolling StarSo sorry about not blogging last week. I've got no excuse. >.<
Everyone's been asking me what i do in the office nowadays. Well, to put it simply, i'm an Ops Officer. Meaning during war time, i'll be with all the high-ranking officers helping them plan troop movement and strategies. But what do i do during peacetime? Well, I still stick with what my profession calls me to do, i plan. Last last friday marks the day where i saw all my planning come to life. Reservist commanders were invited to my camp where we show them what our modern artillery capabilities are, and as such, i was in charge of planning the displays which would be present. This project took me about 3 weeks to pull everything together, i could have planned it faster but some people just refuse to give me information on time. *taps foot impatiently* Anyway, on the day itself, i was running around like a mad horse making sure everything is going exactly as planned. I wish i had a car... (soon, Amoz... ORD is just 6 months away...)
Oh yeah, i received a letter from Swinburne uni stating that i have to be back to take part in their "enrolment sessions" on the last full week of january 2008 or risk having my place being given to someone else. Suffice it to say, i have no intention of given my place up, so as such, i have decided to disrupt my national service somewhere around january next year. Will take more about this later...
Shrek 3 came out on thursday, and since it was a public holiday, boaz and i went to watch it. It was ok, considering that it had a nice storyline. But not as funny as the first or second one. Then on friday, i went to watch Shrek3 again (don't ask). I had nothing to do since i took friday off. (long weekend, yay!)
Yesterday was by far quite interesting. See, me and a couple of my friends went out for a Dim Sum buffet at this hotel place, which was quite good and i ate and ate and ate until i felt like a stuffed turkey. Then in the afternoon, a couple of us decided to head out to Marina Bay and do some prawning. That's right, prawning. What it is is that we'd rent a couple of fishing rods and buy some bait, then we'll go to a designated pond where the prawns are kept. I'm sure you guys get the picture already. It was fun because i managed to catch the most out of the whole group. But i think something is wrong with me because most of my catch were pregnant prawns. Oh well, better than my other friend, who only catches baby prawns. hahahahaha! At the end of the day, we let our catch go because we had no intention of bringing them home to eat. This was all just for fun. I can't wait to try my hand at fishing! (most likely all the pregnant fish will come to me again.. =_=") |
