"Hello Juliet-two-zero, this is Golf-five-seven. Hasty Fire Plan over." The voice in my handset said.

In a flash, i whipped out my pen and jotted down the coordinates that G57 is giving to me. "Juliet-two-zero, repeat last coordinates." I said into the handset for confirmation.

"Another mission?" 3rd Sergeant Alvin asked.

"Yup." I replied as i handed him the paper. "Send the order down to the guns and ask them to standby."

"Yes, sir."

With this, i closed my eyes and rubbed the bridge of my nose as i sometimes do when i'm stressed. The past few hours had been nothing but missions for my artillery units, and i just can't seem to focus as well as i usually do.

"You ok?" Alvin asked.

I opened my eyes and laughed. "Yeah, just didn't get enough sleep last night." I explained. "Watching anime."

Suddenly, the monitor in front of us starts to beep. As i looked at it, my mouth dropped.

One of our artillery units are being attacked by enemy artillery!

"Damage report!" I ordered as i grabbed my handset and reported the situation to my superior. "Sir, Kilo-three-zero is being artied. Damage report is..."

"5 men reported dead. 23 injured. 1 gun damaged beyond repair." Alvin reported and i repeated the damage.

"Does 51 Blue Artillery have any missions?" I asked after i've finished with the damage report.

"No, sir. They've just finished one."

"Good." I said as i pointed to a blip on the computer screen. "Ask 42-Foxtrot to do a radar scan, see if they can figure out where those arty rounds came from. Once you get a lock on the enemy's position, order 51 to counterfire on them before they zhao."

Well, just to let you know, this is not all for nothing. Last monday to thursday, i was called to take part in this 4 day exercise that involved me taking control of simulated artillery units.

It was a pretty slack exercise, if you asked my opinion. Although when missions started coming in left-right-and-centre, it's hard to get a moment's rest.

 

Anyway, what else is new? Hmm... well... i think something is happening to me... i haven't felt this way in a long time before.

Hahahahahahaha! Well, it's true. It's been a lot time since i've watched a good anime. I mean, i've been keeping track of One Piece and Naruto. But lately, my friends have introduced to me Bleach. *spotlight on self* "Awesome!"

What's up? *sigh* Sometimes i wish something interesting will happen so that my blog will not be such a bore... but i guess you can't have everything in life!

 

Well, an update on my life, i'm just passing time by watching anime on youtube and am currently playing Morrowind, this game my friend passed to me to play. Other than that, i've decided to pick up learning chinese again, now i just got to get some real motivation. (Like a cute girl that only speaks chinese or something...)

 

Other than that, i've noticed that i've only 10 months left before i fly back to australia! Woot! I can't wait!

Although there will be tons of things that i'll definately miss when i leave singapore. The friends... the family... the food... Oh well, to be honest, because i've travelled a lot since i was a kid, i'm sorta used to all the hello's and goodbye's. But hopefully i'll be able to come back and visit again when i've finished my studies (or you can come over and visit!).
